That is a good looking car.
Looks like a good deal and it already has alot of big steps taken out of the body build process.

Cool, I was thinking of painting my bumpers white like that to go with the wheels. Like a Twinkie.

Picked it up, got a lot of work to do on it to make it road ready but it's in my driveway now. Got it for 2300 and my 05 raptor 350 ATV as a trade. Think it was a fair deal, the engine runs good it seems for now so will just go with it and use the rest of the budget to get the rolling chassis how I want it then work on more power.

I think first on my list is new brake system, I want all new and upgraded. I want to go disk all the way around, new larger master cylinder, resivior, and all new lines front to back.

I think I want to get the kits from Chirco, and the raised front spindles since I will be running 31"x10.5" rear tires.

http://chircoestore.com/disc-brake-front-ball-joint-raised-spindles-4-130.html

http://chircoestore.com/disc-brake-kit-rear-4-lug-irs-68-72-with-e-brake.html

doesnt say who they are made by, and I would assume it would need bearings and seals and all that jazz too since it does not show it as listed. I wonder if it takes the stock stuff or what? Guess I iwll just have to call Chirco on On monday to find out.

AC Industries was my first and last experience with China made parts. Everything leaked. Stay far away from that brand.

AC Industries is sold by SoCalAutoparts.com.
Cheaply priced brake kits, almost unusable quality.

Chirco probably sells EMPI kits which are hit and miss.
The rotor may come apart on the braking surface, have seen other problems.

For the front:
I would buy the tweeds lift spindles with caliper brackets.
Then build your own disc brake kit for the front using ghia calipers and rotors.
If you have to buy new calipers then find trw / varga name brand calipers.
4-lug rotors can be bought at local auto parts stores , rockauto pretty much anywhere.
The same applies to the calipers but I wouldn't buy a "preferred house brand" from a FLAPS like master pro or parts master.

You could also run Thing spindles with a caliper bracket, the Ghia discs/calipers are an easy bolt on, you also get the additional lift

. I've got all of the extra parts laying around, including Ball Joints (one needs a new boot). I'll cut you a sweet deal. PM me if you're interested.

Plasma cutter is on the way, should make quick work of the floor pans,a nd a few other rust spots that need to be cut out and new metal welded in. Now just need to order some floor pans, and go get a air chisel.

There has been discussion about which caliper brackets to use on thing spindles. I haven't gotten this far with my thing beams, but here is a thread you might wanna scan over if you haven't already.
