Yeah. Im betting with about 6 hours of work on the spot...flush tank, cut out sock filter, add external strainer, swap in a good fuel pump, new battery, new lines and a bag of L-jet goodies and maybe a spare mater cylinder and new belt... I could get it to be a driver enough to warrant road tripping it home.

But I have enough of a project with my current 412...and no indoor place to keep it until I could work on it.

It also a long haul from me. Bulverde Texas is a little North of San Antonio.

Thats just a small hair under 1000 miles each direction from Des Moines Iowa. I hope it goes to a good home...even though it used to be gold...it looks like a decent job for the moment. Ray
