Have a customer looking for some information on this VW.
It's a 64 according to his paperwork.
He is 2nd owner, originally ordered from a VW dealer in Denver CO.
Any insight would be helpful.

Is he saying a VW dealer did that conversion?

I would be highly skeptical of that story.

Let me get some more info Everett.
My customer is the second owner.
He said the original owner's company had several of these that were ordered through a VW dealer in Denver.
Whether the dealer did the conversion or maybe they farmed it out I couldn't tell you.
I've not seen any quite like these....

I could see the cars being ordered new and sent to some other conversion company right away.

I just don't think a VW dealer would do this sort of thing.

Are they all steel?
