Yep, it is all over the road now... Laughing
Need to buy the reamer and bushing guide tools as well.

I've got the reamer and drift for the center pin that you could borrow. It's probably only a few bucks to mail them down to you.

Right on Chris. I will send you a message. Thank you.

BTW, pic from this morning, in Taos, NM. New seals and window rubber are doing their job and keeping the interior dry. Very Happy

Yeah, that's me. I posted a link to it earlier in the thread but it gets lost in the shuffle. Please feel free to share it around.

We are all set up for camping on Friday 7/31 at the UFO Watchtower. She wouldn't take a resavation for us and insured me that there would be plenty of room for us. She also stated that it wouldn't be an issue for us all to camp together, Camping will $10/vehicle.

Who ever shows up first, hopefully this will be me, just tell her that you are with the VW bus group and she should direct you where to go. If not try to pick a nice FLAT spot. Smile

Happy Pattys day,
Rich P.

Right on, thanks for arranging this Rich. Dancing I am excited to do this trip.
BTW, for those of you who don't know, I broke the big toe and fractured the joint on my right foot plus I have to have nasal surgery next month. If you don't hear from me for awhile, that is why.

I have 2 good sized road trips, 2 car shows and a festival weekend planned before the trip. I have a parts order in right now, always something to do. I've been poking around the net for a nice air compressor and it seems the choices are fairly limited. What are you guys using?

I;m going to bring a compressor and a decent genny , no messing around with 12V compressors (although there are some decent ones on the market..Sears has a good one for about $65). Sounds like you are living large!!

This cheepy pump saved by ass after I un-stuck myself from the middle of nowhere Nevada after getting too close to the saltflats... Plugged it in, sat back with a cold one and 40 minutes later both rears where back up and running.

Is it too late to sign up? If I don't make it out for Stuart's backroads multi-country extravaganza (and right now it sure doesn't look that way) this will be my next option. A little closer to home too.

It's never to late to sign up for the Muster, we'd be more then happy if you joined our adventure.

I'm not gonna make the Evergreen show but I hope to meet you at the Vw on the Green event next month.

Also, Do any of you Fort Collins/Denver Metro are bay owners have a bay window tow bar I can borrow for the weekend? In exchange I'll get you a couple of six packs of your favorite beer. Any help/leads would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I'm no help, I only know of a couple down here. Surely Manfred has one but I'm not sure what country he is in at the moment.
