Hi all,
I have 58" thule cross bars left over from another vehicle and I am putting together a roof rack for my westfalia van. I measured across the pop top and its 55". Will my 58" cross bars fit?

Sounds a little tight, but I know I appreciated a little more overhang, for loading my kayaks. It was nice to prop the kayaks up against the bar ends first- then rotate up on the roof. Without overhang, I predict knocking long things against the side of the pop top a few times.
