We fly out on New Years day to pick up our first bus and with Cristmas a week away I couldnt pass up a gift for the bus we dont have yet right? Its not going to fit under our tree so im hiding it at work ( from the wife ) . I asked one of the local RV shops if they had any small awnings. They said " we have an 11.5 footer thats to small to use on anything we do, its been here for 2 years...would $200 make you take it away"? I just about fell over.

What have you gotten or are doing to your bus for Christmas?

I'm looking for a roof rack now, but am puzzled with " shocks and gutters" for a roof rack? Can you explain?

Wow, that is a killer deal! Very Happy

At first I thought that size would be too big and overhang quite a bit, because the largest GoWesty sells is a 10 footer. Someone posted this in another topic though and said it's the 11.5 foot model. Looks perfect!

My Westy just got some new speakers for Christmas. Hope it doesn't get jealous of the more fortunate vans Embarassed

Yeah, to clarify- the shocks aren't part of the rack, just 4 new regular shocks. The gutters are the pieces that attach to the poptop and the rack attaches to the gutters.

December is a crazy month in our family, and Christmas is only part of it. Both my spouse and my birthday, our wedding anniversary, and all the other holidays that other people celebrate!

For our anniversary my lovely wife got the van a set of TerraPodz!

Our Syncro got LT truck mirrors (thanks to GW turkey day sale)

they are installed and look sweet - and the actual rear view is FAR better than my stock (floppy) units. Looks good and works better!!

whoa $200!? Nice find!

It looks like a different model... maybe a bottom mount version. You may have to figure out some things to get it to mount. Looks like an F65 case

That's mine! hehe...

I love the longer awning. having upgraded from a 11 foot EZ Awning Plus I couldn't go shorter when I decided to switch to a Fiamma.

Also, it was only like $60 more to get a 11'6" model from Van-Cafe instead of a 10 footer.

Every week is Christmas for the Westy!

I am re-doing the wood paneling in the rear with 1/8" birch plywood to get rid of the peeling wallpaper style paneling.

For the '89 Bluestar, a pristine pair of '89 GTI Recaros, rare pattern and color. A little bit blue-er than the stock seats, but should look great!
