April 11th, Port Orange/Daytona. The second day of No Dough weekend. We will try and give out free Tee shirts and grub, sponsors permitting. We have had participants from as far south as Miami and as far north as the Carolinas. So come and be a part of an aircooled weekend with your one windshield bus. |

Thank you Mr. Ron. This is the third year of the event. I have always posted it hear first because this is the Baywindow forum and the SBR is centered around the Baywndow bus. Not everyone who visits The Samba peruses all the various opportunities that are offered here. In a few weeks I will ask the moderators to move this thread as I have done in the past. The link you posted is for last years NoDoughBusShow which has evolved into a fantastic 3 days of events of which the SBR is one. I have spoken to the organizers of NDBS and they will be posting a thread to Shows and Events soon.
Thank you for your concern. Come and join us if possible. |

Once again we will be in laid back Nova campground amongst the pine trees and oak. Limited vending will be available (pm me). More details to come.

I've been to both of the previous SBR's, and for anyone thinking of coming, DO IT! The weather is always great, Nova Campground has plenty of nice, shady spots, and it's a weekend full of VW fun. There's cruises, parties, the world famous Daytona Beach (one of the very few you can still drive on), and some awesome VW's. This show (and it's predecessor) have been on our group's "must attend" list for years. We always have a blast. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Well dang, like last year it is back to back with Bugapaluza. I'll have to watch the weather and balance against work schedule as well.
We went to the first one and it is a great time. For those thinking about going, GO! We'll likely be there weather and work permitting.
And yes, the campground is great. Hope to see y'all there... _________________ Godspeed

Things are looking good, the whole front of Nova is being afforded to us. Klassic Fab and The Bus Co. are on board as well as local Florida supporters McNab Foreign and Olsens Aircooled. Shirts courtesy of TMiami once again. Parking on Daytona Beach has gone up from $5 to $10, that is not much but may cause an issue for people sitting on the fence over the original 5 bucks. We will figure this out. |

Pete, I'm sure there is room for about a third of your ride. Can we give you a third of a shirt? |

I never wore the shirt from the first show .
I'm saving it ( wrapped in a zip lock ) to sell for BIG BUCKS at the 25th reunion
along with the #001 registration from that first show
and I hate black T shirts _________________ 63 two fold rag

Never wore the shirt......Hmmmmm. In the SBR1 pic above, there is a scoundrel who looks amazingly like a cross country truck driver, and I'm not talking about Dave. |

You mean there are people out there that will employ you? That Suby can make it down. Bring it on, you can hold conversion seminars for $ so you can get back home. |
