What is a good color choice for a 1970 beetle that will probably be sold not too long after completed? It,s all stock, going to replace all rubber and scrapers and replaced with new pan.,etc.Probable a single stage.I drive my sister's WHITE '70 around and a lot of people ask if it's for sale! I've asked a number of people, some say white would be good for resale, what do you think? Thanks! |

My opinion, since you plan on selling it when done, would be the stock original color. The dash , door interiors, under hood etc. won't require any repaint. _________________ 67 zenith blue sunroof

Strato Silver is my choice but I agree, if you are going sell it keep it stock. It would be easier than painting all the nooks/crannies. _________________ -Jared

Most people will say to repaint it baby blue. Seems like every 1970 era beetle was resprayed baby blue at least once. I would suggest looking at the stock colors from the color charts and pick the color that you like best for the era. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/paintcodestype1.php _________________ Wish List:
