What is a good color choice for a 1970 beetle that will probably be sold not too long after completed? It,s all stock, going to replace all rubber and scrapers and replaced with new pan.,etc.Probable a single stage.I drive my sister's WHITE '70 around and a lot of people ask if it's for sale! I've asked a number of people, some say white would be good for resale, what do you think? Thanks!

My opinion, since you plan on selling it when done, would be the stock original color. The dash , door interiors, under hood etc. won't require any repaint.

Strato Silver is my choice but I agree, if you are going sell it keep it stock. It would be easier than painting all the nooks/crannies.

Most people will say to repaint it baby blue. Seems like every 1970 era beetle was resprayed baby blue at least once. I would suggest looking at the stock colors from the color charts and pick the color that you like best for the era. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/paintcodestype1.php
