Looks like it will be fun. I may try to come over on Saturday. I probably won't bring my thing, don't know if I trust it for that long of a drive Sad

Sorry to say, we may not make it. Our son was to come visit from Ca. on the 11th to the 22nd, but due to health issues, from Iraq, will be coming later. We have a 3 year old grandson that is expecting to play trains and cars and Godzilla, etc. You guys maybe fun, and are taking the weekend to play, THINGS, but he is only 3 once. Enjoy.

I took a look at the Drive in movie web site and noticed that they use an FM transmitter for the movie sound.
Just a heads up

Bill's right-
I probably should have mentioned that.
If you can't use your car radio, bring along a transistor radio.
(if you don't know what that is, ask your parents Wink )

Gary we were talking about this yesterday and were wondering if we keep our key on for 2 hours we will be powering the coil and points. Maybe unplug the plus side on the coil to watch the movie? I will try to bring the jump box.

You could unplug either wire from the coil; the back (15) or the green (1).

The main concern would be burning up the coil if the ignition needs to be on for the radio to play, and the points happen to be closed when you stop the engine.

Just for fun, check the wiring info in this link:

Detail added for others.... Wink

That's probably why, when the dealers installed radios in these cars, they were always full time hot.

It might be my forgetfulness from old age, but I got sick of draining the battery because I left the radio on. Same thing with the glove box light. Other people would bump the light, not knowing they turned it on; a couple of days later... dead battery.

Anyway, we'll talk this over with everybody going to the drive in movie.

As of now, the weather forecast for Dayton looks very good.

Hope to see y'all soon.
Please make a note of your odometer reading when you leave for the show; I am tracking distance driven.

Have a safe trip, Mondshine

What time does things start on Saturday? This is my first show and since I only live about 30 min form Tipp City I will be driving there in the mornings. My grandson is about as excited as I am. See you all soon. Do we know about how many will be there?

Come hell or high water we will be there. We have a window of 10-1 on Saturday to view the show so I hope that's when the owners have them set out.

My boy is so excited about this show. It's his birthday and he's pretty much forced the issue -he's going wether I take him or not Smile . I'm a bus guy and you try to raise your kids right, but they love what they love.
