Hi.
Don't know how you call it but....Can the inner "bearing" be pushed more into the tube (one inch) or is it hold by something in the tube?

There is a step or ridge that the bearing sits against on the beam inner bore.

Looks like an original bakelite bushing, it has a tight fitting to beam nothing else.

Many times nos bakelite bushings are enlarged during the time, and are very hard to get pressed in.

Hi guys.

I've done it. I took piece of pipe from gerbox. It has just the same diameter as the inner pipe of tni beam. I had to grind it a little to fit in.
I put a beam on the press and put the piece of pipe in on to bakelite bushing.
Then pressed it an inch into the tube and it worked.

Thanks again for your help & posts...

Klemen
