Petri horn ring experts

I just finish installing my chrome petri horn ring and the horn won't stop beeping once I put it in place.any help will be appreciated

sounds like the ring is grounded permanently somewhere so the circuit is closed even when you don't apply the horn, causing the horn to beep continuously.

Check that there are a pair of cork blocks in between the ring and the mounting plate. I had the same prob and had to make my own for it to work as it should. There should be insulation around the three mounting screw posts too. I just cut heat shrink tube and kept layering them on for the correct thickness.
