ok so i have not done this yet. needing some info first. I plan on lowering my 71 bay. only about 3-4" max front and rear. I have a set of brm's in 15x5.5. i dont really want it to rub much. i am considering a 195/60 15 tire. sure i know its not a properly load rated tire for the bus. but im not taking cross country trips. its not a daily either. vw events and occasional cruises to a show in another state im in wa and there are some good shows in oregon. I wont be going any faster than 65 mph anyhow. low and slow. so is this an acceptable tire size? It measures out at the same size as the 14's currently on my bus right now. i would like to keep the same gearing and rpm range as it has now. thoughts? _________________ 71 Bay. "ketchikan" |
