Hi Forum,
I'm restoring a 1986 Cabriolet and my outside window molding is brittle.
Where can I get replacements? I've tried salvage, but I'm in FLA and all I found were the same....
Thanks! _________________ Old hippies never die, they just brake for hallucinations. (o\ ! /o) (O=|=O) |

I hope to do the windows on my 87 and 89 Cabriolets soon too. Best source that I have found so far is MK1Autohaus.com, they even make some of the door rubber and body seals that no one else makes anymore.
For a guide to rubber moldings, check out http://www.cabby-info.com/Files/SealPartNumbers.pdf
Please let me know how the purchase and installation goes. Maybe I'll get inspired? |

Hey Flashcat!
Thanks for the tip! Seems pretty reasonable, too....

Although expensive, vintagerubber.com is another resource. _________________ ~Kamz
