Three years ago I swapped out my 2.1 for a bostig Zetec motor. I got the engine in and running the night before my family moved across state so I got it drive able but never really dialed in. I remember there were some issues with the temp gauge going up at strange times and the motor mounts rubbed at acceleration. After the move it got parked and with all the busyness of starting a new farm, running a new business and the general chaos of having a family I haven't had time to mess with it.

So I'm looking for someone who might be willing to help me take this project and other things on the van to completion. I'm thinking updated fridge, some body work (not absolutely necessary), and generally getting her to where she needs to be. Would prefer a shop but if someone has a solid reputation in the community then I'm willing to go that route as well. Kind of at that crossroads where I'm trying to decide whether to keep or sell and either direction I go I'd prefer it be fixed properly before I do so.

Feel free to post or pm me. Thanks in advance.

Ship it to NY, most I deal with do.
I am a full service shop and love Bostig conversions.

Some helpful links and people to talk to:

http://roadhaus.com/shops_search_map.php?state_id=22

http://redbarnrestorations.com/index.htm

http://j-3restoration.com/

Note, I have no affiliation with any of these shops. The bostig factor might be an issue, but I doubt it. If anything, it would make it easier to suss out the minor problems. I'd suggest you add "bostig" to your subject line so the bostig people see this thread.

Hope this helps.
