I'm in the middle of doing all the body work on my origanal owner 1965 beetle. I have only the metal so far for the front end. I just found a extremely dry and straight 1968 beetle shell with all the other metal I need intact. It also is very very cheap. Will 1968 panels such as the heater channels, A-pillars, and quarter panels match a 1965 or are they at least close enough that I could modify them to be correct? Thanks and please hurry!!!!

Not the front quarters . . . and the rear quarters have bumper brackets that are different . . . and you cannot use the door striker portion of the door jam.
Should be okay with the rest of what you mention if yer not concerned with a concourse restoration.
