I saw a bus in the handicapped space at the drug store. I went in to use my wife's phone to take a photo and it had left leaving this behind!

Was it a mid-engine bus?

I can't tell you how many times I've backed into spaces just so my car doesn't look guilty of an OPEC-reportable incident.

Love it.... always marking their spot..

It always amazes me how many save the environment decals are plastered on old Vw's....specially the "Bus"... Laughing
Kinda a double standard from my perspective.
Granted old Vw's, in their time were "some" of the least auto polluters . . but today even though lower volume....they are higher polluters......

Just curious... does California consider excessive oil/fluid leaks into their auto emission standard.... Rolling Eyes

.

Mine has a slight leak in that area of the shift lever/ nose cone. Common tranny fluid leak.

Thomas, early full syncho trans used plastic plugs for the trans shift rails which shrunk and leaked. Later ones used aluminum plugs, 3 on the side, and a smaller low one above the lower stud on the mid casting of the trans on the left hand side near the nose piece. If that is the case, pry the plastic out and install the later type. You will have to double nut the lower stud to remove it before installing the new plug. I hope this helps.
