there should be a paper tag on one of the sides, that has a number on it, like this.
This will determine the model/year. Just from the front, I can tell it's a newer model, the older ones do not have the blue dot on the bezel
It is definetly europeon and not an american model though, at the U band (FM) only goes to 104

I had a radio similar to this years ago. I found a couple of things interesting. First, the output transistors often went bad from heat (that's the externally mounted one), but can be replaced. Second, the jack covered by the plastic plug on the left... what is it for? An optional pre-amp? External audio source? I was wondering if so, maybe those are good candidates for an iPod interface. |

yes and yes. You can get cables on eBay (maybe even here on theSamba) and I definetly see them on ebay.de and ebay.co.uk all the time _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |

eBay auctions are ok as long as it doesn't seem like you are screwing someone over who might be trying to get something cheap.
For instance I just won something hard to find on eBay for 1/2 of what it's worth IMHO, I would have been annoyed if anyone had posted it here. _________________ How to Post Photos

Thank you everyone for your answers. The radio is european, I live in Spain. The last week I was selling the radio for 100 euros but I was looking some information and I noticed that I can sell it for 200 euros.
Do you know that is the right price? |
