Thanks but actually I'm not, It's a custom mix of Orange-Pearl-Candy from House of Kolor
You can check them out here if your not familiar with their stuff. Good Quality.

The top will be somewhere between a cream and white. Once the paint is done I will finally be able to start on the rest of the car. _________________ Jesse

Here are a couple of more pre-clear coat shots. The clear is going on tonight in about an hour. Will be putting on enough to get that "wet" look.
Can't wait to see what it looks like in the sun light...

Thanks Darrel. It took a few tries to get it down to the right mix of base, candy, candy concentrator and orange pearl and the white just sets it of great. The final was 2 coats of base, 8 coats of candy pearl and 4 coats of clear. 30 minutes between coats so you can imagine how long it took to finish.
I now need to wait a couple of weeks for it to cure before the "orange peel" can be color sanded and buffed out. Pun intended
It looks supper hot in the sun. I'll post one up tomorrow of it outside when I get it home from the shop. _________________ Jesse

Here are a couple of shots in the sun light. I think it looks really anemic with the stock size tires and rims. I can almost make a fist between the tire and the back fenders. It looks like a cat walking through a water puddle trying to not get wet.
I thought the white stuff all over was overspray but its some spray on stuff that you can shoot overspray on and it and the overspray just washes off with water.

A difficult job well done, if I may say so, Jesse
My painter guy told me - when my car was at the same stage as yours - that the colours will come to life when the glass and the trim have been added. Same for the wheels, I think. Those rims will look better when painted the same colour as the car, or maybe silver.
Orange is a difficult colour, but I think you've pulled it off. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

Thanks, I think you are right about when it's more complete. I have a new set of rims that I'm eventually having rebarreled wider since I have the extra space with the narrowed rear arms. The gap between the tire and fender is too big to leave a stock rim. The plan is to have the middle painted with the orange candy and the outer rim the same as the top with maybe a chrome beauty ring. New tires will be a way wider and lower profile.
This is a test shot with a stock rim.
