| No 67 is not the same as a 70.Seat back shape changed in 68 when they went to the high-back seats.The frame itself is the same with the upper v or u shape welded on for the headrest .Very easy to cut down if your going for lowbacks |

He's asking about rear seats (back seat), not seat back !!!
I think the rear seat is the same - but wait for someone else to post.
Of course Convertible rear seats are different than sedans.

Will a 70 back seat fit in a 67? Yes. Is it exactly the same? No. If I remember correctly my 67 back seat had some sort of latch to hold in place that my 70's seat didn't have.
