Is there any How Tos about how to swap a chassis tunnel?

The top of my tunnel is all rotten, but the rest of my pan is good.

Can I cut it off and weld on a donor tunnel? Where would I cut it?

If I cut it, will it affect the structural integrity of the pan?

I think you have a job to try to do that, You might put something under the car tunnel to support it when you cut it..Good luck

I think you'd do better building onto the good tunnel or chasis. Everything builds upon it. Both bodies would need to be off for sure. If one tunnel is rusted bad check out the rest of the chasis very well.

One problem that you might have would be trying to keep it from warping from the heat from welding it. Jeff
