I need parking brake cables ... chassis number confusion

I have a 1968 Squareback, and need an Emergency Brake Cable, from what i'm reading in the Parts Manual, i'm seeing it's down to 2 different part numbers. My Plate on the Body reads 36-8136575, so... please tell me what month was this built? Thanks, BluzBug

Is your car IRS or Swing Axle?

311 609 721 C Cable - Rear brake (length 1790 mm)

I take it my Square was built in January 1968?

I believe February. The chassis number listed each month is the last one built that month.

I have a 68 fastback and got my e-brake cables from Bughaus. Good quality cable. It was the D version.
