Haha good to know! Ill have my pan pack within the next couple of weeks from getting new 1/4 pans put in, got some KBS rustseal I'm going to try on it, have heard good things but still deciding if I want to do a texture or nice smooth gloss on it. Been working on the engine in the mean time, found out wearing gloves for cleaning an engine is nice for keeping my hands nice and clean Razz Gonna have to pick up some of that bedliner though!

I did not get all that I had planed on this past week but I did make a showing . Working on the wiring is a project I have enjoyed. Just trying to keep it neat without it looking like a rats nest. Trying to keep the lest amount of wire showing under fenders and the engine area. Putting black shrink tubes on all exposed wire. Gas tank needed filler move. I have welding experience but to weld to different gauges of metal (tank and filler) that thin I would not weld it again . I had pin holes that I found when I went to clean inside of the tank with acetone. I recommend brazing it .

Saturday night and it is getting late. Needed to pick up a little and call it quits. One more small project I got started on for next week. Steel mount for breather box on gusset under tail of buggy. Extra work just to eliminate two bolts being exposed in rear seat area and hopefully it will hide LOGO on top

After installing bumper I did not like the way it did not snug up to hood.

Engine compartment completed....well except that oil filter and rear bumper. With a little help from joecoolcustom I order another oil filter mount that I do not have to drill and tap for my oil pressure sending unit. Starting to second guess myself on the exhaust. Any body interested in a set of ceramics Laughing Laughing Laughing Shocked Shocked

Yes, that will work nicely. One suggestion, plumb it onto the outlet side. That way you have a reading after the filter pressure lose and just before it goes back into the engine.

One last project for this week. Steering column with signal lights. Thought I would install another nice empi product

NOT.........should have taken a closer shot to show fine details and quality workmanship

I wish I would have know of this web site before buying some parts!!!

Had stock column with most of hardware so I bought stock signal light switch. A little work on lever that was to close to steering wheel. A piece of 1/4 flat stock of aluminum and TIME. I need two tiny S/S screws to finish.

Went into the house to check out Final Four scores and my wife was getting ready to go to bed. I told her I was about done. I was talking about being done for the day ....I think she thought I was talking about the buggy.

Went back into the shop next thing I know...there they where. Ready to RIDE

Wire harness completed except for some type of fuel shut off switch and front park/signal lights.

Once again this cheap imported parts such as lights for the finder has a nice finish [after sending first set back that didn't ] just do not set well on the finder. Got to do a little rework on them.

Trouble shot every thing I could before hood went one. Glad I did. Sure is tight under here!!!!!!!!!!
