A 1pc conversion for "up to '64" will work on your 1954-55 Beetle

Doesn't need doors . . . just glass!

These are the next level jump . . . http://kaefer-nostalgie.com/content/door-window-glass-pair
Note the "notch" for ventilation!

Doors from an Split Window already have factory one piece windows. You might have to go back to 1952 and older, as I believe Sept. 1952 wing widows came to be (when the crotch coolers were removed too). I looked at the old brochures and 1953 is the first to show wing windowed bugs.

If some one has a older split window bug, could you post how the factory did it back in the day? I would also like to know if they did it right without leaks and rattles!

Picture or factory drawings would be a plus.

Or you could realize that it's not the 80's and nobody installs one piece windows any more... Wink
