So we have 2 silver backs down for the count; Sam will be in England and Dave has recently been struggling with health issues. I am totally up for the annual Saturday night 181 Pre-Kelley Park at Harry's Hofbrau if we can get some THINGs to show up. Or maybe it’s just you, me and the kids?! 
I will blast the 181 list locally but that has not been well received.

Peg and I will be there. Sam doesn't need to go to England to hear people talk with a heavy accent. Just listen to Peggy after she gets back from a visit to Texas ... allyaall.

Brasenose College Oxford is having a Jubilee Lunch for alumnae on Friday April the 19th, I had a really tough decision, but this was a 50 year event and KP happens every year, so I am off to England for a few days to have lunch with my old college friends. BTW The dining hall at Brasenose looks just like the hall in the Harry Potter movies!
I will post pics of my off-roading in Landers CA for Thing-a-thon, on March 28th, with my new motor. Adam did a great job building it with really good parts from Aircooled.net.

Motor is in...and the CV goes whir...new thing shop jobs too. Will tear them apart next weekend. Have an old spare if I cant put this one in order. Was hoping to move forward with the maintenance, always just two steps back. I WILL be there.

Last night I had an electrical failure so I will be using Sam’s Thing, unless I can figure it out which is highly unlikely because I suck at doing electrical trouble shooting. No body to help trouble shoot stuff. My wife did one attempt at turning it over before bed. I swapped out the coil because it looks like the starter turns but no spark coming from the coil to the distributor. Looks like gas is flowing so it may be a bad wire to coil. Got to use the Ghia to get the kids off. Big issue is I got to pick up all the DJ equipment to get it ready for Kelley Park and everyone is off getting ready for the show. More later if time allows. I guess the Ghia will be taking me to Harry’s Sat. Bummer.
