I've seen 4 1/2"x15's (I believe close to stock backspacing and offset), 5 1/2x15's, which look to have most of the added width to the outside (harder to fit under the back of the car with long swing axles or irs) and have heard there are 8x15's, but never seen one.
In the early '80's I had a pair of 4 1/2x15's widened 1 1/2" to the inside (the centers were cut out, rims rechromed and the centers put back in their original place). With 185/70's, '66 and earlier axles and type 3 brake assemblies they looked like they belonged. I still have those wheels. Al
