I did it. Here is my 66 with a adjustable narrowed beam from Oldspeed.
I was trying to add the before photo but had no luck.

Narrowed beam made the snow melt away, too. Laughing

Car looks good. I like the detailed BRM's.

4" narrowed with 185/65 15 up front and 195/65 15 rear.
I have tire rub on the driver side headlight bucket when turning right and ever so slight amount on passenger side. I'm hoping my tire rub issue is due to the fact that the passenger side fender is curved different than the driver side. I've done different measurements from various points and it seems that the issue is with the fender. Looking into a fender swap.

The color is actually the diamond green. The pictures make it look so flat and dull. But that is the typical lighting on cloudy Ohio days!

Do you have dropped spindles as well?

I'm asking because lowering that far with an adjustable beam might end up swinging the wheel forward, as the trailing arms move up. So the wheel will sit closer to the headlight buckets. You see it all the time in really low cars, but I can't quite tell from your picture. Since you have tall tires, it might be your issue, even though your car isn't ridiculous low.

Dropped spindles reduce that problem, because they move the wheel directly upwards (not forwards). And they allow you to leave the beam in a more raised setting, so that the trailing arms are more like stock.

Yes I have dropped spindles. I might be a tad to low for the size tire up front. Also I believe the problem lies with the passenger front fender shape and the fact that the passenger rear spring plate was about 3 degrees off.
