Spotted this today in a Workshop Bulletins binder.
Anyone ever seen this kit in a bus?

Sorry if this is a repost.

I remember the highroof barndoor deluxe in California having a similar setup. It's been ~15 years since I've seen that bus and I can't recall if it was identical.

I probably have pictures somewhere but they may be a challenge to find.

This setup is mentioned in the Type 2 '50-'54 parts manual.

In the drawing, item 1 and 4 are the rear seat, and item 2 and 3 are the front seat.

Have never heard them called 'midget buses' before.

That set up is awesome. I think I need to show that to my machinist friend and see what he can come up with to make that work.

Greg! Find those pics! I want to know more about this. How does it attach to the other side? Spare parts department? Does that mean all the pieces needed are VW parts used else where?

I really want one of these.
