Checked out one of these today. Boss wants to buy it for a company work truck and install a dump bed.
54-ish IH R160. This is not the exact truck, but nearly identical.

Too weird because I just saw a Fisker and also a Murano Convertible last weekend and I have never seen either before. _________________ John - 86 Wolfsburg Westfalia "Weekender"

There are two of those li'l BMWs in our parking lot next to each other, both white. They look like a pair of Paul Bunyan running shoes. They should have a Nike swoosh in their sides. |

I posted this in the WTF Is That thread, but since it wasn't just an internet find, and actually drove by my house, I figure it qualifies. |

Someone called it a Sterling, and that looks to be correct. This owner added something to the rear deck.
I don't see many VWs outside of our monthly club meet-up, and this car is so unusual today I'm surprised he hasn't showed up to our meets. Must be an interesting story to have this running after all these years. |

Nope, that's a Sebring, first series. Close cousin to the Sterling. I probably have the car in my registry somewhere. Owner added deck scoop probably clears the carburetor... |

Must be some sort of Corvette ralley here as there about 150 of them all over the place.
A 1970 something International 1210 pick up truck. Looked pretty good.
A nice old P1800 also from about 1970. Very nice in red. |

I saw a Maverick Grabber on the back of an auto transport yesterday. Couldn't get a pick though. |

Three Jensen healey interceptors, but I think they were trying to decide how many more they needed to make one. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Aston Martins & Maserati's… Town just to the north-east is filthy with them, it's like Beverly Hills Brunch over there for the saturday Cars & Coffee…
"Out of the ordinary" for around here, don't know about other places: A Plymouth! A Prowler, parked at a FLAPS when I was buying some oil filters, similar to this:
There was an early 70's Porsche 911 parked next to it. Understated and undoubtedly better performing - but there seem to be lots of them around - not "out of the ordinary". (Now, if I drove the Ghia down to the FLAPS, that would be "out of the ordinary"… But I was letting it sit idle for a valve adjustment this morning.) |
