Hope I'm not upsetting anyone with this latest Big Reveal...
but it appears the ex-Steve Wood Prandtner 51 Panel has recently made it this way across the Atlantic
Looked clean. Particularly liked the engine bay.
Is anyone able to post the July 88 Hot VWs feature? _________________ -StockRocks-

Steve Wood....a Legend...one of the first guy who had an article in super vw about his collection and about Barndoors.
Years are gone but I will never forgot Him as one of the first who makes me dreams.
Times changes ...
Today everybody speak about everything and everybody knows everything...
happy to hear that we can now see it... |

Are you thinking of the brown/brown standard that went over on the way to Kelly Park, late 90's? |

Looks like it has gone from Lorenzo Pearson's collection at WCM to Russell Ritchie in Scotland.

Different bus Knee Grow. You are talking about Johnny Salazar's, VTO fame, 52 Standard, which now lives on the the big Hawaiian island, Hawaii.
I was surprised to see that bus there. Cool bus with cool history. I hope the new owner drives the SHITE out of it! REALLY.
TurboedWestie ......... nice sticker mate . I was nice meeting and chatting with you. And super BAD ARSE bus! Cheers.
RockStock ........ thanks for the coffee and conversation mate.

Johnny, it was too brief but they'll be another time
Scotty's twin seems to embrace a low profile these days! But don't be fooled - his mind is still sharp
Im guessing the Prandtner will be at BC _________________ -StockRocks- |

First you get the knowledge, when you get the knowledge
Then you get the power
When you get the power then you get a Barndoor
Or something like that
Nice to have a chat with you Johnny shame it wasn't for long _________________ Luca Brasi's got nothing on me
