I am restoring a 1951 sedan in a very slow pace. Have come to the brake system which needs a complete rebuild. Have searched the forum for info about where to find repair kits for master and wheel cylinders. Seems they are no longer available. So where can I find the best replacement for eg the master cylinder?

I am sure there is a rebuilder local to you that can R&R your current parts. If in the States check out White Post Restoration, Brake Materials and Parts and Apple Hydraulics for this service.

Split bug master and front wheel brake cylinders are available new (the split rear wheel brake cylinder with 4 holes is not available new any more, but you could take a new oval era wheel brake cylinder with 2 holes instead of 4), but the original German quality (Ate brand) is expensive.
