Unfortunately one of the pins in my 383 cap has broken off.
Any ideas for repair idea or replacement.
- solder a new pin in ?
- drill and tap ? |

I have one laying around with the same problem.
I thought of drilling a little hole. Not too deep.
And solder a new made pin in.
But I have not tried yet. _________________ Master of my domain! |

Those pins are pretty hardy but today's rubber covered ignition wires are much stiffer that the original cloth covered wires. I would suggest using the cloth covered wires with that cap. _________________ Roads Scholar &

They are asking stupid money for all cast iron distributor and parts.
But do you want to get stuck on the side of the road because you're using a "repaired" distributor cap and it's not like your local Pep Boys has them in stock. _________________ Glenn
