I make my own Ghia oil lines & coolers from an original Okrasa sample using German steel braided COHLINE oil hose and 6mm copper tubing.

You always do nice work.

Did you ever run a test where this cooler works better than the standard cooling? I would think the cross section blocked by the tubing defeats cooling the oil/engine more. Also the exit hotter air from the tubing puts higher air towards the engine.

When my dad had an Esso station in the 60s, people would put door screens over the radiator to protect it from bugs. The door screen would cut the airflow 40 pct I believe and then some would overheat. This modification always concerned me for that reason but maybe it was proven. Certainly having more oil in the tubing and filter helps to absorb and dissipate heat.

I have a add on thermal camera attachment for my phone. I'd like to see a heads up test and understand the benefit.
