I just thought that I'd put the question out there before I actually take it to the scales. It has a one piece fiberglass front end and fiberglass rear fenders, a 6 point cage, home built engine cage that ties into the cage, home built front bumper, no back seat, a speaker box with a 12" sub and 2 6x9's. The (new) rear tires are 29x10.5 and the front tires are 28x7 on steel rims. All stock suspension and drum brakes.

So give me your best guess.

My son didn't get it weighed yesterday. I'll get it done by Tuesday. I'm either towing it with a tow bar or using my cousin's trailer tomorrow when we go to Johnson Valley. You've all been a lot of help with these estimates because I had no idea what it should weigh.

Considering that my '58 Bug when stock (except for tubular street header with glasspack) and about 1/2 tank of gas weighed 1588 on the SCCA Tech Inspection scales in 1973, I'd say that nukacola and enjoyther1de are probably fairly close.

I put it on 2 different scales today. It averaged out at 1725 pounds. Way lighter than I thought it would be.

Dang thats not bad my lil 4 seat beam car rail weighs about 1350pounds.
