Ray Im glad you didnt go for a flip book or similar where the pages of a conventional book are imitated on the screen. I hate theese, they tend to not function the way they were ment...browsing in them can be frustrating...they always make me upset.
Word or PDF format is excellent, thanks again!

Yes...I agree....except for one or two very fine examples of industrial advertising pamphlets I have found that are done this way and were just superb....with imbedded videos, links, pull out graphs etc.....but.....I found out that software was very commercial print house quality. It would have set me back about $1500 just to start and qbout 6 months learning to use it . Ray |

Ray, when you say "turning action 50% tighter" are you talking about turning the steering wheel, or twisting the struts out of the car?
The washers on the through hole version of the spring plate make sense, it seems like it would be a lot more difficult to tweek the bump stop spacer than just sanding a hair off a washer face. Or, I'm missing something obvious. |
In my final build.....since this version had all the tweaks into it....I went back to a bump stop s0acer that had no grinding or material removal. Just the inner counter bore at the bottom. If you dont have bump stop bushings with the counter bored lower section to sit on the step of the strut rod......then you need to cut the top section down .470". I did my earlier ones with a hacksaw....left them about .020" longm...and worked them a little at a time in a vise with a file and bench grinder .....or you can use an angle grinder. Just stop and check a lot w8th caliper to get them even.
If you have to do that you will need to cut the tops of the bump stops down as well. Did that with a hack saw. Quite easy. Ray
