I badly wanted some of this beer too, and I found this place will fedex you beer. It's kind of expensive though.

You are ready and the snow is flying right now.
Had the snow trac in the Christmas parade here last week but this week I am fixing the transmission mount and a repairing some wiring. Good thing too as they both needed attention before heading out into the while white yonder. That a Groomer beer would be gone fast.
In the meantime keep, this in mind....

Ha! Nobody uses step-ins. Even when they were new, nobody used step-ins. Step ins are fantastic for big mountain riding. Really plush. I dig them for my riding style. The only problem with step-in bindings is the cost of proper boots to make them worth a shit. And they not so great in the park but I don't do park. In my formidable years I had access to the best gear for cheap or better yet free. My Sorel and Snurfer combo just wasn't cutting it Now if I could just find my Chris Sanders Avalanche board Love it, that you were the first person to call me out on step-ins. I knew it was gonna happen _________________ Keep on Busin'

I actually looked into shipping a single bottle in an old Backseat Burner, 12 pack box. I have a few saved. Won't chance it at USPS, they could bust me on some interstate transportation thing However the guy at the other place with the brown trucks said "just pack it well and call it liquid car wax". Still with shipping and a packaging fee, a free bottle of car wax would cost about $20 to send cross country. _________________ 1979 Type I Convertible |

No Heli drop, the chopper is still in Alaska and will not be back until January 15th. No biggie, it was steep and deep anyway.

My daughter (regular Emma) is home from Germany for a bit, so we are tackling a couple bus projects with our favorite 'Bus project beer'. (the one that matches the script).

Brewing up some trouble. Gotta find time for everything. After a day of fixing oil breather issues, decided to brew a new batch and bottle the other.
This is, temporarily named, Straight to hell stout. Will be around 10 abv

What type of yeast are you using and how long do you expect the fermentation to take? Love that the thread is expanding towards making beer in/with your bus and not just drinking a beer in your bus.
But nothing wrong with doing both. _________________ 1979 Westfalia "FireFly" Subaru 2.2 with Subaru gears 5spd.

Yeast is American Ale from Wyeast from my previous brew, a pour over onto the yeast cake. Fermentation should take about a week, then bottle it and let it condition for at least two weeks, probably longer.
Saw the opportunity with this thread to post brew days and what I'm drinking (which happen a lot on the same day anyways...)
Olympia is a great area, wish I made it down there from Seattle more, traffic can be hell. Good luck on the move and welcome to or back to Washington! _________________ 1977 Bus FI Champagne (?) |
