Nice.
On the oval, where did you get those mirrors from? I once saw them in a Rodding magazine, but have not seen them in awhile. I might have seen them in JC Whitney also, but was not sure of the quality. Thanks |

Pennywise, check www.speedwaymotors.com and do a keyword search for "peep mirrors". they are $14.95 and attache to the window frame.
search keyword "mirrors" and you can see what else they got. Lots of rod stuff here. |

The "flat" is a clear coat that has no sheen and also has UV protection. You can actually mix regular gloss and flat to get whatever sheen you desire. Then the color you choose can be anything you want and still have all the benefits of a regular paint job. Although you can't wax this type of finish. So be prepared to live with some scuffing.
Lots of guys just spray black primer (PPG DP-90 epoxy primer), but it doesn't have any UV protection and ends up breaking down after a year or so.
PPG has all kinds of cool stuff in way of paint. You just have to play around to find what you like!
Enjoy! |

My 17-year old daughter was walking by the computer when I was looking at your rides and they stopped her dead in her tracks. I always knew I was raising her right!! |
