I picked up a sweet 140k mile original condition Quantum wagon which I will show off soon here.
My second day out, it had a catastrophic coolant leak on a rubber coupling hose that leads to the trans cooler behind and under the engine. (pictured)
Anyone know what this sensor is? Someone put a non-original plug on it, and only 1 terminal was connected.
I ordered a paper version Bently manual which is on the way, but I need to get this back together tomorrow if I can find/make the correct hoses.
It would be much appreciated if someone knows the what this is, and even better the pinout (Ground? / Sense output?)
This was SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS TO GET TO.

Can you tell me more details on this ?
I just pulled a 1.6 TD from a 1983 Quantum automatic 4 door, and took the chassis to a local junk yard....so maybe I have it, or can get it back from the car.
Where does it connect? Is it on the drivers side of the motor or pass side like near the starter under the turbo? |
