37x32 SS 219.00 Per
40x32 229.00 per

I have used both and just needed to smooth the chamber and beginning of port with a flapper.

cheepest Ive seen is the scat prostreet, 40x35 ported for around $210 each,Ive used a few sets on other peoples builds. then comes the more expensive cb stuff. lost pan of cheetos &th 044 line up of heads are all good and lots to choose from for any size &usage. unlike one stage fits all. mofo's are nice but there not ported.it all depends on your usage, budget and what you expect.

Nobody in the world has cheaper Made in the USA street performance aircooled cylinder heads than me.

Our 040 and 041 heads have standard intake and exhaust ports.

Our 042 castings come with larger intake and exhaust ports cast into the head so there is no need for porting.

Our 050 castings come with a "D" shaped intake port and the same exhaust port as the 042.

Just click on the facebook link below to see the video I took on Monday of our heads being poured at the foundry. You can also type Roy or Mofoco into youtube to see some older videos of the same.

I'm considering all the above heads for a thick-walled 1835 going in my wife's 67 bus. Also looking closely at the KaddieShack KS-1000 heads. Looks like a nice head for the money.....has anyone seen a set up close?

Mofoco sells very good heads at a good price, I have run many sets with good results. I also like the Tim's heads but I have not bought any since they went to the Chinese castings. Wink

My first set DRD Heads were great, the second set he had to send back after 7 months because he was to busy. I would call that Drama! I have bought six sets of Tim's heads with 3-4 week turn around. DRD does do great work. Wink

What Roy said is actually the truth. Cheapest US made heads. Just one comment however, i personally think that stainless valves should be included.

Power is in the heads and this is where you need to spend the money to get good heads. There are other areas where you can cut corners and go cheap but not on the heads.

I'd get Steve Tims or DRD or Aircooled.net heads.

no need for porting.......this too go's for single port heads and every other head.just like there is no need for a stroker or biger bore....unless you have the need for speed.

the best "street heads" are the ones custom ported, cc'd etc by a competent head guy (theres only a few of these guys in the country that I'd have do my heads) for your own individual motor build.

Tims, DRD, Mofoco, CB etc all offer great heads, but runnin them "off the shelf" is leaving potential power on the table.

i have a set of custom worked CB 044's in my 2180 and couldn't be happier. my builder has tons and tons of experience putting together bullet proof reliable daily driver engine combo's from mild 1600's all the way to radical 2387's, his motors make anywhere form 80hp on up to 200+hp and he specializes in daily driver engines - meaning true daily drivers, drive anywhere on 87 pump gas and get up to 300k+ on the bottom end of his motors with heads/vavle jobs every 60-80k or so. I trust his head work implacably for my desired application.

the, for the most part, minor differences between one vendors heads and another are minute compared to custom working any of these heads to work to their fullest potential for your individual custom motor combo. One guys best for him mofoco heads may not be the next guys best for him DRD heads, which again may not be the best for the third guys Tims heads.

MoFoCo. Reasonably priced and you can support our country as he starts with his own USA made casting. The little money that you might save by purchasing slightly cheaper china/offshore heads is not worth that guilty feeling u get later, like when you purchase something that used to be made in America and you find the "Made in China" sticker.

If you are so worried about a "Made In USA' part then why did you buy a "Made In Germany" car instead of a Ford or Chevy?
