Finding a formula for this color has been a problem for several people. This color is the outer rim color for prairie beige ovals. This is a photo of one of the one of the only examples available. Anybody have any suggestions of another vehicle manufacturer color or even rattle can that would approximate the color of the outer rim in the photo? Thanks.

I always thought that matched the body color, and that's what it looks like in the photo.
Are you saying it's not the same as the body color?

Looks like outer rim is the darker color, inner ring at hubcap looks body color.

I'd go to a paint shop they can match just about anything.

For most ovals, outer rim color was not the body color. Look at the posted photo and the rim is not prairie beige. Other ovals, diamond green rim is blueish gray, for coral red its rusty brown. Those are just off the top of my head. Unfortunately, even the old glasurit recipe book doesnt list L77 and I'm just Hoping somebody might have a decent suggestion. FWIW the inner rim is silver beige & a modern formula exists.

Wondering if Nutria is a reasonable match. Saw this notch in Nigeria in the gallery so cut the rim in for comparison. I've never seen Nigeria in person, so wondering how close that photo is. Photo looks like it's pretty close.
