73 military thing need some pointers on looking at it.

183 would indicate a 1973 model. 1973 US model would not have Swing axles and redux gears.


Well that is good to know for sure.. From what I am getting it should have the bus tranny too?

My understanding was Reduction Gears were a factory order option through the full production line.

He found this in the folder he got with the car and took a pick of the Birth cert. So it seems does not really say much, unless I am missing something. Its always cool to see these either way. When I did mine it took a while and $60-70 an it went with the 60 rag I sold. That one was more detailed as far as options go for interior etc.

I think Apr/May 73 may have been about the time they switched from swing axle to IRS for Military 181's.
