Thank you Andy, I will try to contact the buggy builder about that, I have no info on them. They marginally help with the lighting, about the same as your run of the mill fog light. I like the finishing touch it gives the buggy though. I bet they are generic stuff you can find @ Jegs or JC Whitney... Now if those front drums can arrive so that I can tuck the front a little more...

Thanks Singer, I like the look but want something that will help light things up a bit better.

Andy,

This is what I run on the front of my buggy. I had a pair of stainless steel tabs welded to the nudge bar which I used to mount the spotlights. The spotlights are 5&3/4" Carello slimline units. Aftermarket kit on Porsche, Alfa's etc in the 70's. Really nice chromed units.

Ignore the wiring you can see hanging in the first pic...

Found a very rare pair of covers....

All the wiring is run internally though the nudge bar. The single wire (they are an H1 bulb unit) comes out of the back of the lamp. I then drilled the mounting bolt and ran the wire down that and then into the nudge bar.

The spots come on with the main beams. They make a real difference at night on dasrk country roads.

My blank BJ front drums arrived last week from CIP1 and they look great. Can anyone recommend a good machine shop to drill and stud them in the San Jose/Santa Cruz, CA area?
