Can anybody shed some light on this? My old turn signal housing has 2 wire connections plus a ground. My new ones has 1 wire connection and a ground. Did I get the wrong housing? If not, which wire do I connect?

Did you get these from CIP? I ended up getting the same ones and are wired for 1156 bulbs, where the originals were 1157 (Two Wires)....Pretty stupid.
I simply switched the old pots..Had to JB weld one of them on as the plastic tabs were broken off..
I should also suggest you closely inspect the slots for the bulbs for burrs..I chased around bad grounds and burnt a few relays before I took my lenses off and housings to discover a nasty little piece that was touching the mount!
Good Luck

Thanks Fes. Yes I got them from CIP. Are there others you can buy that have two wires going in for the correct bulbs? If not, I'll do what you did.

I'm not sure, CIP just sells them as " '68 thru "72"..I found the pots that came on these kind of cheesy anyway..what year is your bus?

You shopped by price and didn't read the full description eh?
Those Euro ones can be modified as already mentioned, careful which way you put the bulb in though or you'll get a bright parking light and a dim signal.
Or send them back and spend the extra $10 a side for the correct parts.

It's funny you mention that, because I'm almost certain the duals were not available when I bought mine 4 or 5 years ago.. also no description either..I could be wrong tho..I rarely shop by $$ alone..I just had a "WTF" moment when i went to install

I just looked at thier site, left and right "uses single filament bulb" or ambidextrous "uses dual filament bulb" listed, more $ for the dual one, both say mediochre reproduction (3 stars).

I'll send them back and get the correct ones. Lesson learned, thanks.
