Any interesting history with the car? What do you mean when you say Iceland doesn't like old cars? People don't like them, or the climate?

hehe itīs the climate that hates cars Wink
I donīt know the story of the car that well, but I do know this, the owner I bought it from, got this car in ca 1955, it was his first car, in 1966 he traded it for a Ford Bronco. The car went from owner to owner until someone took the engine, gearbox, interior and almost everything else from the car, put the car on a field, there it stood for about 30 year, it has been shot at. the in 2000 the guy buys it back and stores it, it has taken me about 4 years to buy this car.

You say that the Icelandic climate isn't very kind to cars, but this one has been sitting in a field for 30 years, and so can't be that bad. Most other places, and there wouldn't be anything left of it, whether used for target practice or not.

It's a very good basis, that's why you bought it, and most people would be happy to have it in their garage.

Shouldn't be too hard to find the guilty person on your tiny island nation. maybe he's still got the parts.
