Hi. Having an issue with the brake light switch on my 83 coupe turbo diesel. I have put two in and they just keep popping.... I have the two brake light switches on the master. They are staggered, one on passenger side front and second on the drivers side rear. the one on the drivers side rear keeps popping when I try to bleed the rear brakes.

I want to leave the thing stock but really thinking about about putting a MK2 style brake light switch in.... Does anyone have any info I can use to fix this issue?

Don't buy the cheap chinese ones. Last time I needed to replace mine on my Rabbit, the best ones I could find were european, but not German.

I didn't think I was buying cheap ones. Getting them from Worldpac. Through a friends auto shop. So I should but a Bosch one, if I can find it?

I don't know if Bosch ever made that switch. It was probably Mera or Até originally.

German switches here. Not cheap.
