$25 admission, not the $20 as posted for spectator. Getting expensive, now I can't buy one of their shirts. Like the OCTO prices. |

So you were ok with $20 but $25 killed your budget? I never saw a $20 price. I think the value was there. Great facility. Nice layout for the show cars, vendor area and swaps. The drag racing was cool other than the ambulance having to leave the facility with a non-racing but event goer emergency, so everyone took a lunch break. I liked how the judging was done at the show (only participants could judge, couldn't vote in your own class, and custom entries only vote for custom/vintage for vintage). I'm not certain of this, but it appeared that most of the DKP host club cars did not enter the show for awards (very cool and classy on their part). Even the weather was great.
I can't see $5 being a deal breaker considering the fact that everything in Southern California is crazy expensive right now with gas prices at over $1.30 above the national average. No complaints here. I'll be back again. |
