|
|
I'm converting my 68 bay to run on a late splitty beam.
What I need to know is are the steering pitman arms the same? Ie will the one I have on my 68 fit on the splitty beam?
Or will I need to find a splitty one.
If the latter be the case what do I do about the steering drag link, are the ends the same size as a bays?
Thanks

The pitman arm does not go on the beam; do you mean the center pin?

I know it sits on a centre idling pin what I mean is are late splitty and early bay centre pins the same size? Therefore would the connection on the pitman arm be the same.
If you get what I mean? |

not the same pin. unsure if the swing arm/relay lever/whatever you guys call it ( ) is the same. knowing the pin is different, I would guess that there is a good chance they are not the same _________________

Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public. |
