Just as it says, will I need to use the plastic "flowers" between the axle tube and tranny with a Pro Street box? I've read that they weren't used in later cars, but I've always dealt with earlier stock stuff. I have been searching for these things everywhere and nobody seems to have them advertised so it'd be easier if I didn't even need them. _________________ - '57 Sunroof Beetle (project)

I would use them. They keep the axle tubes from rubbing on the case. You don't want the shavings running around in the tranny. _________________ Grubby Fingers Racing

You read wrong. VW used them right to the end of production in 2003. _________________

^^^^correct^^^^^ and, yes you do need them. The fact that you dont know this makes me question your ability to correctly install axles and tubes on a s/a trans. _________________ There are no stupid questions, only stupid people,
