So I have a 69 bug with a wide 5 conversion that is a knuckle dragger. Right now I'm running 135 15 ' s in the front and 205/55/15 in the rear. I really don't like the 135 ' s it just doesn't seem to handle well and I wanna go wider. I'm trying to get as wide as possible with out rubbing. I also want to switch from the old technology of my bias tires. If any one could be as kind to give me honest advice with their knowledge I would appreciate it alot.

I'm running 185/65/15's up front, but I'm not lowered any. And 205/65/15's out back.

I do not understand this new fad....I think its called patina. Sad....without proper body work and paint, that car will disappear from the face of the earth in 10 years or so.

No it won't . The pans are new and all the rust is made using a chemical and it's smooth. Plus I sealed the car with a matte clear coat. It's not going to fade away and it's easy to get back to showroom quality. It's not really a fad more of a lifestyle. Why should it be all pretty to make it cool. It's more of a sleeper.

I would like to see pictures of your 2275cc though. I've been looking for a good motor for my 73 super beetle. If you don't mind

It's a fad, like flat black paint jobs.
