I am cleaning out some of the crap....er I mean valuable spares in my garage. I think this is part of the smog equipment that was on a '68 912 I had a looong time ago, but it could be something similar I picked up at a swap meet and is actually a Zundap part. Anyone recognize it for sure (I am most suspicious of the bracketry)
Thanks,
Alan

Thanks Rick, that sure looks like this is a VW "throttle positioner". Do you know if the function was the same as the 912 version, slowing down the closing of the throttle upon deceleration? Also are the components mounted on the bracketry the same as the 912 parts?
Thanks again for the quick reply
Alan
