I made the bar flat with bolts ontop then come down and attach to the adapter plate for the bus transaxle. It was easy to do and bade it a lot stronger and took some stress off the fiberglass where it mount to the roll cage down tubes. I just sandwiched the body for the mount on the top.

very cool idea,,,, mine goes through the body and ties into the back bumper , hard to tell from the pic

Wow!! Love the detail work - the chrome suspension pieces look fantastic! Great use of HF dollies as well - I was thinking of using those in my own garage for the same purpose.

Impaleale, I was wondering how that bar braced thru the body worked out? I was going to do that with my rear roll bar set up but thought the little bit of flexing that could occur could crack the body, so I went thru it and used an intake manifold grommet to space it. Worked perfect. Have you seen any cracks or drawbacks?

thank you , there is a lot of little detail work that cant be seen in the pic , first show is coming up and i cant wait , the HF dollies work great i can spin the car around in the garage with ease ,

the color really pops in the sun , and turns purple also still working on a pic that shows it
